Amanda graduated from Bird College (formerly known at Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts) and Classical Dance Studios in Bristol. A regular on the West End Stage, Amanda has worked with stars such as Tommy Steele, Paul Nicholas, Ruthie Henshall, Shane Ritchie and Luke Goss to name a few. She has appeared as 'Patty Simcox' in Grease at the Cambridge Theatre, Swing/Dance Captain in Marguerite at the Haymarket Theatre and 'Mrs Simpson' Tommy at the Dominion Theatre. National tours include 'Lilly St Regis' in Annie alongside Su Pollard, 'Margerita' (The Tango Dancer) alongside Marti Webb in Evita,and 'Dorcus' alongside Sam Cane in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers' and 'Singin' in the Rain'.
Other work includes 'Lady Brighton' and 'Lady Jacqueline' in Me And My Girl at the Birmingham Alexander, 'Lily St Regis' in Annie (Kuala Lumpur), 'Patty Simcox' in Grease (Scandinavian Arena Tour).
Amanda has worked with a host of household names in pantomime including John Inman, Ian Lavender, Rula Lenska, Justin Fletcher, and Marty Caine. Her roles include 'Fairy Godmother' in Cinderella, 'Jack' in Jack and the Beanstalk and 'Slave of the Ring' in Aladdin.
Creative work includes Assisant Director on Cats (Larnaca Festival, Cyprus) and Assistant Choreographer on Wuthering Heights (Tamasha Theatre Company), various shows for Stagecoach including Mardi Gras, Adelphi and Shaftesbury Theatre shows.
On television, Amanda has appeared in 'Casualty' (BBC), 'The Fight' (HTV West) Commercials include campaigns for 'JD Williams 2015-16', 'Quidco 2015', 'Nestle','LYNX' and 'HEAT Magazine'.
Amanda is a very experienced teacher having nearly twenty years experience, specialising in the nurture and development of confidence and imagination. She has taught at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, Millennium Dance College, London Studio Centre, Urdang Academy, Guernsey Academy of Theatrical Arts and Chichester University. She is the Senior Dance Tutor at Charterhouse Square School and also runs the 'Le Class' Ballet School' in London.
Amanda has recently appeared in the Mill Theatre, Sonning's production of 'MY FAIR LADY'.
